Our Aims & Objectives

Vet Care

Making Veterinary Care Available to Rural Animals

Ambulance Service

Providing a Free Animal Ambulance Service

House Calls

Taking all the animals home after their operations and treatment, we continue to monitor their progress.

Dipping

Reducing the incidence of biliary and other tick borne diseases in dogs.

Collaborating with VAWZ

VAWZ (Veterinarians for Animal Welfare Zimbabwe) has a mobile clinic.

Distemper Vaccinations

In addition to the Rabies vaccinations we need to vaccinate as many dogs as we can against a highly contagious airborne disease, Canine Distemper, rife in our rural area.

Basic Beds

We attempt to supply each dog with a very basic bed when it returns from the vet...

Kennels

We make and supply kennels to offer shelter from the elements.

Education

Providing information on basic animal care in clear and simple language.

Rehabilitation

We bring the most vulnerable cases home for a period of rehab.

Spaying & Neutering

Taking dogs and cats into Harare for sterilisation, and arranging Spay days out in our community.

Rabies Vaccinations

Facilitating rabies vaccinations for these rural animals, we act as intermediaries between VAWZ and the locals, organising vaccination days.

Dog Food

Providing an affordable and nutritious dog meal sold through two local tuck shops.

Supplementary Food for Malnourished Animals

We're daily confronted with severely malnourished dogs and puppies.

Fostering

We foster malnourished and orphaned pups.
