Poor little Cane was hit by a car on her return from our Caledonia Dip Day. We received a call from her owner telling us of this, so we collected her from the side of the road and took her straight into the vet. She had cuts and abrasions and was obviously very sore, so she was kept in for 2 days until 4 June, when we took her back to her home. She had to wear an Elizabethan collar because she was trying to pull her stitches out and this strange attire made her an object of much curiosity! Her stitches were removed on 13 June and she has made a good recovery.
